The Jabberwock's background

His name is Ohmlod. He is a powerful creature capable of ripping limbs from a man's body. Ohmlod is intelligent, smarter than some men. He has an even temper and is difficult to provoke.

Ohmlod believes that he is part human but doesn't know why he is so different from mankind. He has lived for nearly 200 years in a post apocalyptic world.

CentSports wagering contest

Ok this is a little off topic but I thought that I would share with everyone a sports wagering contest that is being held by a sister blog. Just follow the link for more information. You could win actual cash. The amount is unknown at this time but more participants means more money. As of right now there are three people vying to win the prize.

Updated background on the Jabberwock

^ He was once known as Ohmlod and was considered a myrmidon for the government, fighting injustice. Of course he was not a Thessalian as the reference to being a myrmidon might lead one to believe. He would be ancient if he was. But he was incredibly loyal to the government until the regime change that brought corrupt leaders that demanded his fealty. ^

Partial paragraph

"The Jabberwock collects himself and tries to stand to his feet. He slips in the wet leaves as he attempts to get his feet underneath himself, so he tries again. This time he has more success and is able to stand. The foliage is wet and the air is cool in the morning light. He looks down to see the golden stone that he had tripped upon. It was partially covered in the wet leaves."

A brief look back.

"A fortnight ago the men had chased him from the city and he had lost them during the first night of the hunt. But the men were persistent and had picked up his trail a couple of times during the last two weeks. It was surprising that the men had followed him so far from the city's gates. So the Jabberwock kept moving and was becoming exhausted"

New entry to "The Jabberwock"

"As the Jabberwock lies on the ground, stunned by his fall, he remembers back to when he first came to this country. It was a time when he was accepted, liked, even loved. Now he is hunted. And tripping over a stone wasn't helping the situation."

Spark any ideas to contribute?

Let me know.

I think we will need to create a back story for The Jabberwock.

Who/What/Why/How about The Jabberwock. I look forward to hearing your ideas!

What happens to the Jabberwock???

Well we know that he falls on his head. What happens next?

Does he die?
Does he get back up and continue his lonely walk?
Does he pick up the golden stone?
Does he enter a coma?

Do you have an idea for the Jabberwock? Let me know.
